                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF M. L. KING BOULEVARD AND GEORGIA
                   AVENUE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
                   ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1, 1993 FROM 6:00 A.M. TO
                   11:00 P.M. FOR THE "MARCH OF DIMES CAJUN
                   COUNTRY COOKOUT" SPONSORED BY THE MARCH OF
                   DIMES, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Georgia Avenue between M. L. King Boulevard
       and 10th Street from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and M. L. King
       Boulevard between Market Street and Georgia Avenue from 6:00 p.m. 

       to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 1993, for the "March of Dimes 

       Cajun Country Cookout" under the sponsorship of the March of
       Dimes.  The sponsor is responsible for the installation and
       removal of all traffic control devices (such as cones, flasher
       barricades and signs) in accordance with the traffic control plan 

       attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane
       for emergency vehicles.
